As part of this commitment, we recently organized two essential training programs in Zakynthos: Basic Life Support (BLS) and STOP THE BLEED.
On May 28 & 29, 2025, our staff successfully completed these comprehensive courses, reinforcing critical life-saving skills through both theoretical instruction and hands-on practice.
What the Training Involved
Participants were trained extensively in:

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): Mastering the techniques for effective chest compressions and rescue breaths.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Use: Learning how to properly operate AEDs, crucial in cases of sudden cardiac arrest.

Choking Management: Gaining confidence in identifying and responding to choking incidents.

Bleeding Control: Acquiring skills to manage severe bleeding using tourniquets, dressings, and direct pressuretechniques.
These sessions combined theory with practical workshops, ensuring that every participant could apply the knowledge confidently in real-life scenarios.
